This is a beauty and fashion blog right, lol? I figured I should post one of my fashion and makeup looks. I did this look for a last minute date night with my fiancé. I always dress up for date night, unless I need to wear something more comfortable, but even then I still put on a little bit of makeup.
I posted this look originally on my Instagram page if you would like to check it out. However, some of you may or may not have IG so I’ll continue to post these looks on here, along with extra details about the look. Let’s start with the overall outfit.
So this picture was clearly taken with a phone, hence the grainy quality (my apologies). If it’s not obvious by looking at me, I’m very awkward when taking pictures of myself. Feel free to call me the awkward one. Anyway, this outfit came after the makeup. I got dressed after I did my face, and tried on several different things before deciding on this dress. I ended up picking this one because it was brand spanking new (tags on and everything) and my fiancé particularly likes shorter dresses on me. Here are the outfit details>>
Dress: Caslon Shift Dress purchased at Nordstrom
Purse: Ralph Lauren’s Denim and Supply Fringe Purse
Shoes: Steve Madden
So let’s give you a closeup of my face along with what brands I used and all that other fun stuff.
Clearly I was having a bad brow day, but it happens. The winged liner was inspired by a makeup look done by one of the girls from The Lipstick Coven. I loved that look and decided to create my own. The lipstick was chosen by my fiancé. Sometimes when I don’t know what lip to do, I pick out a few lippies and ask him to pick one. There’s a fun fact about me for yuh. Here are the makeup details >>
Crappy Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony
Eyes: Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner in Black & Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
Lips: Colourpop Cosmetics Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Avenue
Face: L’Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation in N1-N2, Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla, & Tarte Amazonian Clay Pressed Finishing Power in Fair to set concealer
Final Touch: Urban Decay Make up Setting Spray (will do a mini review on this later)
That’s it for my look on date night. I will be posting more outfit and makeup combos in the future. Let me know how you liked this, and if there is any product that you want me to review. Make sure to follow/ subscribe so that you can know the second a new post is up.
Stay Vampy,
The Boho Vamp
P.S. I promise to post at least once a week for you.
